Her parents were exterminated by the Nazis and until the end of the war, she lived in extremely precarious and dangerous conditions. All of her work before WW2 is lost. "She is then considered as one of the most talented "aquafortistes" of her time. From then on, she took part of all major salons". "Her painting tends towards abstraction".
