Gerard Hordyk 1899-1958. Dutch painter and muralist. Worked in Paris, Amsterdam and New York. Neighbor from Piet Mondrian while living in Paris. Figurative painter with a great interest in ballet and circus. Mondrian and Hordyk met again in New York during the second World War, they became close friends.
