Hložek Pavel (1898-1982) Born in Čachovice. He graduated from Düsseldorf School of Applied Arts, studied at Ferdinand Engenmüller School. At the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, Jakub Obrovský and Max Svabinsky. On the occasion of his annual study stay in Paris he attended lectures by František Kupka. He was a member of the Unity of Artists with whom he regularly exhibited. He is the author of still pictures, landscapes, portraits, acts.
