Dirk Pieter Braam (1908-1986) in the Hague. He moved to Antwerp, where attended the Academy of Fine Arts from 1937 to 1941, and the National Higher Institute for Fine Arts, led by Isidoor Opsomer. In 1941, he settled in the Hague, member of the Pulchri Studio. Figurative painter and draughtsman of still lifes, landscapes, the human figure, interiors and cityscapes. He exhibited both nationally and internationally and his works are featured in several museums (including the Municipal Museum in the Hague and the Municipal Museum of Helmond) and in many private collections.
