Pierre van Soest (1930-2001) Born in Venlo The Netherlands lived and worked sice 1957 in Amsterdam. Educated at the Rijksacademie voor Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam. His paintings are related to the expressionistic paintings of the Dutch COBRA movement.
