Willem Jan van Dam (1895-1964) expressionist autodidact painter. De painter used bright colours in almost geometric-elementary compositions. He lived and worked in Amersfoort The Netherlands, he painted many city scapes but also 'pleine air' landscapes of the surroundings van Amersfoort.
